I decide to teach yoga because I wanted to share what I have learned from my practice with others. Especially how important breathing is to the mind, body, spirit relationship. By teaching yoga I can put people in touch with how breathing helps control your whole life.
For me Yoga is a way of life which incorporates all aspects of daily living and has improved my way of experiencing fully each and every day. Yoga helps achieve calmness by controlling and concentrating on breath. It is a combination of physical strength, mental focus and relaxation bringing an overall positive attitude with a strong sense of focus, integrity, discipline and awareness of oneself.
Originally from San Diego, I moved to Arizona for college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from ASU. I am married and have two children, Cody who is 20 and Ashley, my 18 year old daughter.
